Daimler Six 1997

Exterior: As you can see, this Daimler Six has a truly stunning colour combination with the dark blue metallic outside and magnolia leather inside. The paintwork is very close to perfect and all chrome details are very good. All rubber and glass are perfect. It had a high-quality paintjob done recently. Also, the original wheels have been refurbished and fitted with new tyres.

Interior: The Daimler should not be confused with the more common Jaguar XJ and it is when you look inside you see the big difference. The Daimler has much more leather inside the car and comes with thicker carpets, special wood panels, tables for the passengers in the back. For the driver, a very nice Bluetooth connected radio/stereo has been fitted.

Engine: As you can see, the engine bay has been detailed and looks like new. Engine has always been properly maintained and comes with a fully documented service history. The six-cylinder engine is very dependable and easy to maintain. Also, much kinder to your wallet than the twelve-cylinder cars.

History: Sold new in Italy and came to Sweden in August 2010. It comes with all books and a service history file. Having owned a car like this myself for more than 10 years, I have to say it is rare to come by an example in this quality.

Jaguar E-type Flatfloor Roadster 1961

Jaguar E-type Flatfloor 1961 for sale

Perhaps one of the most collectable Jaguar E-types is a Series 1 flatfloor car with welded louvres like this one. Unless you stumble on a lightweight Jaguar E-type, then you really have hit the jackpot.

Exterior: The first owner really wanted to have a red Jaguar E-type but it was not available, and it would take a long time to get one. So, he bought this car that was in gunmetal grey from the factory and had it repainted to red on the outside only. When you lift the hood, it is still wearing the factory colour here and the same goes for the trunk area. Before it was painted, it was rust protected properly, and the car has stayed pretty much in this shape until today. The wheels were replaced somewhere along the way, but the chrome is original and in very good shape. As you can see in the pictures, it comes with the very rare factory hardtop. A series 1 Jaguar E-type Coupe is the most beautiful of all E-types (to me) unless you have a convertible with a hardtop.

Interior: At the same time as the car was painted, it was given a new red interior. This is still in the car today and looks amazing. Wonderful patina on the leather and everything else inside the car is in very good condition. It is still the original soft top and it keeps the rain out of the car. All instruments are beautiful and fully working.

Engine: Starts very easily and has a very good sound. The 3,8l cars just sound a little bit better than the later 4,2. This car comes with documentation showing that it has covered no more than just over 100,000km during its lifetime. So, nothing more than normal maintenance has been done over the years, and it runs perfectly today.

History: This car was manufactured in October 1961 and delivered, also in October, to Fredlunds Automobil AB, the Swedish distributor, as the second E-type ever sold to Sweden. This is confirmed by Philip Porter in his book, Jaguar E-type: The Definitive History.

The first owner was the proprietor of Automobil AB, Bengt Dahlén, in Lilla Edet in western Sweden, who bought the car from Fredlunds Automobil AB and registered it in February 1962. He owned and used it until 1989, logging 90,000 km. Second owner, Timo Ekholm in Eskilstuna, took care of it until 1995, when the present owner was able to buy it. To date it has logged 115,000 km.

Documentation: Jaguar Heritage Certificate, confirming all matching numbers, original colour scheme, delivery date to Sweden etc. Original vinyl booklet with original owner’s manual, including notes by the first owner. Original lubrication scheme, in absolute mint condition. Signed letter from first owner confirming that the car has never been damaged. First registration documents. Many MOT documents (including 2016 with no remarks). Issue of MotorSport magazine from April 1961, featuring the launch of the E-type. Issue of Swedish Classic Motor magazine from 1992, featuring this car

Jaguar E-type Coupe Series 1

Jaguar E-type Coupe Series 1 1965 for sale

Exterior: This car was restored in the early 90's and it still looks good today. You can find some small blemishes in the paint, but overall a very nice looking car with good chrome. Rolling chrome spoke wheels in very good condition and fitted with good Michelin tyres. Good gaps and the car has a nice ride height.

Interior: Stunning red interior in this Jaguar E-type! Perfect red leather, nice carpets and all trim in the back looks very nice. Nice clean dashboard with fully working instruments and controls. Spare wheel, jack and tools in its place. Adjustable steering wheel and proper seats (unlike in the earlier cars).

Engine: Starts easily and sounds very normal. The car was not driven much in the last couple of years. So, an oil service is due. Normal sound also from rear axle and gearbox.

History: Imported to Sweden in 1986 and then it had a restoration done here. This was done by previous owner, so we do not know how much was restored. But the car was repainted at this time. The last owner had the car for nearly 20 years and drove only a few times in the summer. The car was always kept in a dry garage.

Jaguar E-type Series 1 Coupe

Jaguar E-type Series 1 Coupe 1963 for sale

The Jaguar E-type series 1 is considered by many to be One of the most beautiful cars in the world. And to me the coupe is the best as it completes the lines better than a convertible.

Exterior: The opalescent golden sand colour looks stunning on the Jaguar XKE! The paintwork on this car is perfect, the panel gaps are perfect, the balance of the car is of course also perfect. This is a car that gets an incredible amount of road presence, not only because it is a Jaguar E-type, but for the reason it is such a beautiful car in this colour configuration. The brown leather bucket seats so visible through the clear glass are like a dessert topped off with the finest chocolate dust. Chrome spoke wire wheels, bumpers etc also in excellent condition.

Interior: That brown leather really makes a lovely contrast with all this chrome details you have in the early Series One cars. Some details have received a small upgrade, such as having the brown carpet come up on the sides where you step into the car. Also, the rear compartment is done in the same brown leather and this gives the not only a more luxurious look, but also a very nice smell when you open the door.

Engine: The 3,8l unit gives the E-types the best sound. It feels sportier and revs more freely. The engine and gearbox of this car was completely stripped down and build up again with new parts. This was done in 2012 and it has not travelled far since. There are detailed invoices of all the mechanical work that has been done to this car. If you are a buyer just send me an e-mail and I can send you copies. The car runs perfect today and just complete a 300km journey in one stretch.

History: This car was sold new to Jerry W More in Wawona California on the 19th of November 1963. It was then sold in 2010 to Mr Bracht in Australia and from there to a dealer in U.K and then found its way to Sweden in January 2017. It comes with a Heritage certificate and is a matching numbers car. Most of the work on this car was done in 2012 and it has been exercised only on sunny days since. It is still to today in impeccable condition. Please note that pretty much every single part on this car has been either replaced or put in to like new or better condition. It comes with a thick binder of detailed explanation of all the work done. Also, a CD with pictures during the restoration. If you are looking for one of the very best Jaguar E-type coupes on the market you will not be disappointed with this car.

The Jaguar 420G or MK 10 is the biggest car ever produced by Jaguar. And when you see this car in real life, it is something completely different from seeing it in pictures. It was a limousine made for diplomats and film stars. Not to be confused with the much smaller 420.

Jaguar E-type Roadster 1966

1966 Jaguar E-type XKE convertible Series 1

If you go out on town and you ask a random person to name a classic sports car, I think the chances are good that they will say Jaguar E-Type. The Jaguar XKE is such an icon when it comes to classic cars and by many considered the most beautiful car in the world.

Exterior: If you need a reference to what a perfect Jaguar E-Type should look like, then this would be it! In terms of panel fit and glossy paint, you could not ask for more. Everything on the outside of the car is in like new condition. Also new chrome spoke wire wheels and Pirelli Cinturato tires. Please note that the car looks almost black in some pictures, but it is dark blue. Please note also that the chassi is in perfect harmony (ride height).

Interior: Red interior that is now in the best possible state. That dreadful “brand new” look is just over and you can see now that this is a Jaguar E-Type that has been driven.

Engine: Engine had a full overhaul in 2000 and has covered 4,000km since. So the 4,2 liter unit looks and sounds excellent. This is the engine that was fitted from new (matching numbers).

History: This Jaguar E-Type Convertible 1966 came from USA to Denmark  in1997 and then in Sweden it had the first registration in 2004. The body work and the paint were done here in Sweden. During its time in Sweden there has been one owner. One in Denmark and from the time in USA we have no records.
