TVR 420 SEAC 1988 for sale

The TVR 420 SEAC is a sports car designed and built by TVR between 1986 and 1988. It is considered as the ultimate "wedge" TVR and is the final of TVR wedge family. Unlike the other wedges, the 420 SEAC was different. The acronym SEAC stands for Special Equipment Aramid Composite, that means that more than 20% of the body was kevlar unlike the others wedges full fibreglass construction. The use of kevlar made the car more than 100 kg (220 lb) lighter without compromising the body rigidity. That, in addition to the highly tuned Rover V8 engine, made the car extremely quick but had its effect on price which was twice as much as a standard 350i. In addition, the SEAC models can be distinguished by the large rear spoiler and the rounder nose. (source Wikipedia)

Exterior: Very nice original paint still. Original OZ wheels in perfect condition. The original wide spoiler on the trunk was not approved by the Swedish Technical control but will come with the car. Clever soft top in very good condition. Also, an original tonau cover if you do not want to take the top up over the night.

Interior: This car has 29,000km from new! And you can definitely see it on the interior of this car. The beautiful wood panels and the dark blue leather still look like new. It feels like sitting in a Rolls Royce until you start the engine. Original spare wheel and all details that came with the car from new.

Engine: The Rover V8 in the TVR gives you around 300hp and in this 1,200kg light car it will take you from 0-100km/h in 4,2 seconds. The sound is heavenly, and it will make you want to get up at night to start it in your garage just to listen to that noise.

History: Considering how many 420 SEAC cars were built, it must be super rare to find one with left hand drive. It was registered new in Sweden in May 1989 and has been in the same family for a very long time. Taken through Technical Inspection here in March 2017.

Porsche 964

Porsche 964 Carrera 4 for sale

Type 964 ("nine-sixty-four", or "nine-six-four") is Porsche's internal code name for the 911 Carrera 2 and 911 Carrera 4 models, which were badged simply as "Carrera 2" and "Carrera 4". "964" is used by automotive publications and enthusiasts to distinguish them from other generations of the Carrera.

The 964 was considered to be 85% new as compared to its predecessor, the Carrera 3.2. The first 964s available in 1989 were all wheel drive equipped "Carrera 4" models; Porsche added the rear wheel drive Carrera 2 variant to the range in 1990. Both variants were available as a coupe, Targa or Cabriolet. The 964 Carrera was the last generation sold with the traditional removable Targa roof until the 2011 991 (993, 996, and 997 versions used instead a complex glass-roof "greenhouse" system). A new naturally aspiratedengine called the M64 was used for 964 models, with a flat-6displacement of 3.6 litres. Porsche substantially revised the suspension, replacing torsion bars with coil springs and shock absorbers. Power steering and ABS brakes were added to the 911 for the first time; both were standard. The exterior bumpers and fog lamps became flush with the car for better aerodynamics. A new electric rear spoiler raised at speeds above 50 mph (80 km/h) and lowered down flush with the rear engine lid at lower speeds or at rest. A revised interior featured standard dual airbags beginning in 1990 for all North American production cars. A new automatic climate control system provided improved heating and cooling. Revised instrumentation housed a large set of warning lights that were tied into the car's central warning system, alerting the driver to a possible problem or malfunction.

Exterior: The car was repainted once in the original color L81L Samtrotmetallic or Velvet red metallic. The paint is perfect! And all other exterior details are in exceptional condition. Just fitted two new tyres in the rear.

Interior: The light grey leather makes a great contrast to the outside color of the car. Everything works and the AC is ice cold. Or if you prefer to open the sunroof and feel the fresh air.

Engine: A big service has recently been done and the car comes with extensive service records. Otherwise a nice clean and dry motor with healthy sound.

History: This car was first registered in Germany in 1989 and the came to Sweden in July 2000.
